George Lowman son of Frank and Henrietta Lowman came to Clifton Forge, Va in Alleganey County from Betetourt County near Buchannan in the early 1900 where he met and married Mary Elizabeth Lawson fomally of Rockbridge County who was living in clifton forge, They married and had a family of eight children. Carl- Clarence- Louise-Helen -Ida- Lillie and Lillian(Twins0 and James. I would be interested in talking with and exchanging imformation with anyone who may be related to this family. George was the son of Frank and Henrietta Welsh Lowman. Frank had a number of siblings that included Elizabeth- Lydia- Cyrus-Abraham Jacob-Joseph-George-Jane- Martha- Sara and Mary J. Charles and Benjamin Franklin Mcdowell(Frank) according to the 1960 census
