Hello, Lowmans
I've had no luck searching here so I decided to just post what we think we know and see who might be interested. I'm looking for new "cuzzins" for the Beers family and information about this specific Lowman family, but have a few Lowman geography questions, too. I'll provide the actual sources of this information to anyone interested.
3.9.7. Mary Ann Beers, born 30 Nov 1826 at Wells, Bradford County, PA, died 05 Feb 1901, m. 6 Oct 1847, William Lowman, son of Jakob Lowman. They resided at Lowmanville, PA (?) at the time of a pre-1901 family reunion [Elmira newspaper clipping, no date], both are buried at Riverside Cemetery, Elmira, NY. There are also some references to a Lowman, NY. Their children were:

4.9.7.3. Edward M. Lowman, 1853-1938, m. 5 Nov 1879 Inez Carr at IL. Inez was the daughter of John Carr [son of Nathan and Sarah (Kerr) Carr, son of John and Amy Armstrong Carr, who were also the parents of Elvina Carr Beers] and Mary Elizabeth Ashby [daughter of David Ashby and Ruth Ann Gaddis].
5.9.7.3.1. Nina Idalene Lowman, died young; 13 Sep 1880 – 7 Jan 1889, buried at Riverside Cemetery
5.9.7.3.2. Eleanor Mary Lowman, m. (unk) Copley
5.9.7.3.3. Donald Jay Lowman; 1886-1945; m. Esther
C. (unk), 1894-1947, both buried Riverside cemetery]
5.9.7.3.4. Malden Carr Lowman [Madden C.?]
5.9.7.3.5. Edward Louis Lowman [E. Lewis ?]
6.9.7.3.5.1? John Carr Lowman (he found the Carr family Bible at home of E. L. Lowman, turned it over to Elizabeth Lowman Hall)
5.9.7.3.6. Dorothy Ines Lowman, m. (unk) Sleeper
5.9.7.3.7. Sarah Elizabeth Lowman, m. (unk) Hall
6.9.7.3.7.1? Elizabeth Lowman Hall (she received Carr family Bible from John Carr Lowman)

Mary Ann Beers Lowman is the seventh of ten children of Jabez Holly Beers and Rebecca (Borland?) (Woods) Beers, and Jabez Holly was the ninth and youngest child of Timothy and Susanna Randall Beers. These names came from the Nathan Carr Family Bible via the Chemung County (NY) Historical Society Beers File.
I was able to find more information on only one possible child of Mary Ann, so is this George S. Lowman the same as George Scott Lowman (Aug 1853-Aug 1946) who married Susan Rachel Black? At RootsWeb Connect it says that he was a native of Armstrong Twp, died at his home in Blairsville, PA. I have been unable to track down the original source of this information and my PA geography skills are sorely lacking, so I would also appreciate any clarification on this and the Lowmanville, PA and/or Lowman, NY question.
