Mary Ann Lowman, that married John Batesell 1840, is my grgrgrgrandmother. I have been doing the family tree and just got started on her. I finally recieved her death certificate and found for sure her fathers name is George Lowman. The trees I have found with her in them I am not to sure about. I found a George Lowman on the 1850 census in Cass Co. Indiana age 60 born Virginia married to Susan age 40 9 kids. her death certificate states she was born in Maryland and all family trees I found state her father was born in Maryland. So is this george I found some relation? To many george Lowmans and not sure where to start one in PA, One in New York< one in Vig. HELP!PLEASE!
