Two children of Matthias Lowman and Mary -- Matthias and Lorenzo -- are my ancestors. Lorenzo's death certificate lists his mother as Mary Wheeler. I have seen a possible marriage date for Matthias and Mary as 14 Oct 1829. It is recorded as Nathaniel and Mary, but as there is no Nathaniel listed in the census in 1830 (but there is a Matthias and Mary), I'm hoping that this was just copied wrong by the clerk.
