I am looking for the father of John Wesley Lowry that married Nancy Ann McCutcheon. Their son Joseph had a daughter Martha "Mattie" that married George John Kent and had my grandmother Ada Bell Kent. I am looking (1) for John Wesley Lowry's father and (2) for the Indian connection to this family. My ggrandmother Martha "Mattie" Lowry, as the story goes, was part Indian and was hid out in the root cellar when the Indians were rounded up during the Trail of Tears.
