Is John Lower a son of Andrew and Elizabeth Lower of Hendricks County, IN ?

I descend from John Lower or Lowery and Hester Coplin (or Copeland) enumerated in the 1850 census in Hendricks County, Indiana. They were married in 1846 in nearby Putnam County. Is John a son of the Andrew and Elizabeth Lower who are also enumerated in Hendricks County in 1850? It seems reasonable since: 1) online discussion of Andrew says -his- father's name was John; 2) my John (born cir 1827) was born in Tennessee, which would fit Andrew's migration from Tennessee to Ohio to Indiana; 3) Andrew is in Hendricks County in 1840 as well, with two males between the ages of 10 and 15, so the Samuel who's age 20 in 1850 could be one of them, and my John could be the other. I believe I have found Andrew in 1830 in Hamilton County, Ohio, since the ages of the people in the household are in agreement with those in 1840 and 1850. Any further insight appreciated.
