Bob,
The most compelling evidence I've seen is an autobiography of the Lowe sisters' nephew, John Lowe Butler, which can be found at http://www.boap.org/LDS/Early-Saints/JButler.htmlhttp://www.boap.org/LDS/Early-Saints/JButler.html.
John Lowe Butler was a son of James Butler and Charity Lowe.In the first paragraph, John L. Butler recounts his mother's brothers and sisters, and names both Mary Ann and Patsy Ann, as well as their Derryberry husbands.
Another piece of evidence is a biographical sketch of Alfred W. DeBerry (found at http://www.angelfire.com/tx/RandysTexas/page88.html)http://www.angelfire.com/tx/RandysTexas/page88.html), which names his parents as John W. DeBerry and Patsy Ann Beezley (Lowe).Whether Beezley was a middle name or a prior married name of Patsy Ann I do not know. This corroborates Patsy's maiden name but it does not name Patsy's relationship to anyone else.My guess is that this sketch was compiled from first hand family accounts after Alfred's death.
