To follow up on my earlier posting... My Low/Lowe haplogroup is R1b1a2. It had previously been classified as R1b1b2, but that classification was changed in 2011.

We are still anxious to have other male descendants of any of the new England Low/Lowe families (Thomas of Ipswich, John of Boston, John of Hingham, and Anthony of RI) get a DNA test so that we can determine if these families share a common ancestor.
