Lovotti's of Piemonte, Italy

I am looking for information on the Lovotti family from Avolasca and the surrounding area including the towns of Garbagna, Cantalupo Ligure, Albera Ligure and Rocchetta Ligure. They are located in Alessandria, Piemonte, Northern Italy. Allied surnames are Perazzolo, Roveda, Baiardi, Canevari, Daglio and Mogni.
Giovanni Battista Lovotti was married to Caterina Perazzolo prior to 1830. I know nothing about their parents or siblings. Together they had the following children all baptized in the Parish Church of San Nicolo in Avolasca:
Maria Maddalena Angelica Lovotti - b. 5 Aug 1830
Angela Lovotti - b. abt. 1831. m. 27 Jun 1854 to Lorenzo Mogni
Guiseppe Antonio Lovotti - b. 20 Apr 1832 m. Geronima Canevari
Giovanni Antonio Lovotti - b. 8 May 1836
Luigi Lovotti - b. 8 Oct 1839 m. Fiorentina Roveda.
Unknown Male Lovotti - b. 7 Feb 1842
Pietro Lovotti - b. 12 Feb 1843
Unknown Male Lovotti - b. 19 Sept 1844
Silvestro Lovotti - b. 19 Jul 1846 m. 4 Feb 1875 Antonia Daglio
Silvestro Lovotti - b. 11 Jul 1848

Giovanni was a shoemaker as were many of his sons. I was told the family was originally French but fled the country and settled in the mountains of Piemonte. There were two branches of Lovotti's that immigrated to the U.S. One branch settled in New England and the other in California. They were all from one of the towns noted above, which are within a 50 mile radius, so I believe they are all related somehow. Would like to find any living Italian relatives and information on the history of the family.
