Betty,
According to the Book "The Loving family in America" Joseph D. Loving (b. 1812)had a son, William b.1834 in KY. The 1900 census shows JD (91) living with his daughter in Denton, TX. Joseph D. was descended from Gabriel Loving (1725-1790). There was another Joseph D.(b.1809) who was son of William Ransom Loving. and another Joseph D.(b.1786) who was father of James and Oliver. There were 2 branchs of the Gabriel line that came to TX about the same time. I think there was another Joseph D. b. 1735 in NC who was a brother of Gabriel Sr.

I an descended from Migginson Loving who also came to TX. His sons were the ages of Oliver and associated with him in palo Pinto Co. I am looking for male lovings who will do Y-DNA test to establish if my line is the same as the Gabriel line. Can you help?
Ben
