Lovin Family, Mississippi to Texas and Oklahoma

We have a website devoted to the ancestors and the descendants of the family of Benjamin Franklin Lovin. The website is called www.lovinly.net.

The family line descends from Bailey Lovin and Nancy Cook through their son Bailey Cook Lovin and his wife, Martha Ann Morris. The family was in Mississippi, primarily in Copiah and Holmes counties before they moved to Hunt and surrounding counties in Texas. They moved in the early 1870's following the Civil War and resulting Reconstruction.

We have Civil War era photographs as well as photos of Oklahoma and Texas in the late 1800's and early 1900's. We also have many photos of the ten children and many grandchildren of Benjamin Franklin Lovin and his two wives, Isabella Wiggley and Lucinda Brewer.

Family members on the website number descendants of 6 of the 10 children of B. F. Lovin from California, Georgia, Illinois, Oklahoma and Oregon. We would like to contact more family members of this line as well as all Lovin relatives.

If you are interested in browsing the website, please let us know by e-mail and we will send you a guest invitation.
