Newspaper article in the Garden Grove, Iowa, paper states that Margaret E. Lovett married Charles Smith of Garden Grove on 30 OCT 1924. Bride's father, E.O. Lovett, officiated. Out of town guests included Mr. and Mrs. J.J.Lovett of Chicago and H.O. Lovett of Manson, Iowa.

Found this information on this genealogy.com website.

I, too, a Lovett descendant. My grandfather was Thomas Bee Lovett of Arkansas, son of Thomas Jefferson Lovett of Bedford Tennessee, son of Enoch Lovett of Bedford also, clear on back to Sir Robert Lovett of Normandy who accompanied William the Conqueror to England in the late 1200's
