You might find this of interest.
In Deed book 17, page 111-112 Onslow Co, NC.
In Nov. 1828 John Lovett gave a Deed of Gift to his children, Elijah, Brice, Saindona, Demsey & David Lovett. He gave each one of them money. One and two hundred dollars each totaling $700.00. It is unclear but the document gives me the impression he was leaving Onslow Co. I know that Brice Lovett died in Onslow in 1832. Sindona married ? Lipsey and Hawlins Marshall & was in Onslow in 1835, Elijah & David were still there in 1830. This is not my family and is all I know about them.
