Nabby Baker Lovett m. Samuel Ober on 9 May 1805

I am trying to identify the parents of Samuel Ober
b. 12 Jan 1783 in Beverly, MA. (see page #244 Bev. Vitals)
d. 25 May 1806 a. 23 y. in Beverly, MA. (see page #518 Bev. vitals.)
m. Nabby Baker Lovett 9 May 1805 in Beverly, MA (see page #226 Bev. vitals) ~ No Children.
Nabby remarried in 1808 to a William Galloupe.

There is some confusion as there are two contemporary Samuel 3d's living in Beverly. The other b. 20 Oct 1787 and marries Hannah Williams 24 Nov 1812 and he dies on 30 May 1869. a. 81 y. 7 m.

The vital records makes mention of a Personal Record #167 being in possession of a Miss Anna E. Bisson (P.R. 167) I wonder if this might offer a clue.

There is a possible candidate for parents in Samuel Ober (1753-1833) and Abigail Kimball (1758-1854). I have 4 children listed for this couple and the last is Oliver Ober b. 1781. This would make Samuel & Abigail 27 & 22 respectively, certainly young enough to have a child in 1783. Also, Samuel's (1753) father is Josiah b. Beverly giving a link to Beverly where Samuel (1783) was active.

Anyone with any ideas or theories is encouraged to reply to Lwert@Metrocast.net
