Hello Eric,
I am trying to find information on Mary Molly Lovel/Lovelby, could be Molly Lovingood. One or both married my ggggrandfather Jonathan Woody. The birth, death and information I have found indicates the original name was Liebengut. Then it was changed to Livingood, Lovingoodand other variations. I would appreciate if you would check and see if you can find any mention of these people. Thebirthdate/death on Molly Lovingood Woody is 1756-1845. She is buried in the Woody Cemetery in Suches/Union Co., GA.
Records says that Elizabeth Lovel, married William Woody, brother of Jonathan Woody, who married Elizabeth's sister Molly. Thus comes the confusion of two Mollys. In Lovingood information it says that Molly Lovingood married Jonathan Woody, a business man from VA, in 1820. She would have been 64 and Jonathan 66, and Molly Lovel/Lovelby has same death date as Molly 1845, Lumpkin Co., Ga, Buried Suches, Union Co., GA same place where Molly Lovingood Woody is buried as wife of Jonathan Woody. I believe they are the same person, others disagree. Thanks for any help.
Will be happy to share information I have.
