There is a Lovell Stinson, possibly in NC ca 1800, that, i think, was a brother to My John Stinson, or related some way. Then I think that my second grgrfa, John L. Stinson, the way he always signed his name, was really John Lovell Stinson, or John Lovett Stinson. He was in War of 1812, and was m to Mary (Polly) Sullivan in Allen Co., KY in 1820. He also lived in Sumner Co., TN before coming to Indiana, and changing the STINSON name to STEPHENSON, saying that was correct. Does anyone have any info on this family? Mary E. Marley
