Need help finding parents or family of Nancy Elizabeth Loveless, my g.grandmother. Nancy was born 12 September 1834 in N.C. a full blooded Cherokee Indian and died in Birmingham, Alabama on 15 April 1912. She married a John Green in N.C. in ca1837. She and her children moved to Shelby County, Alabama in 1884 and lived first in the Spring Creek area near Montevallo.
We have not located a John Green and Nancy Elizabeth Loveless in N.C., probably because she was an indian and they may have lived in secret places or with her family. We expect her family to be pioneers who adopted Nancy as a child.
