I am the third great grandson of Amos Loveland, the first Loveland to settle in the Youngstown area and among the first settlers of Coitsville Township. The History of Trumbull and Mahoning Counties, Vol II, probably available at the main library will furnish you with early information. I have undertaken research of this famly and its ancestors, which I would exchange with you for photographs of your home and surrounding homes that you believe were Loveland Family homes. The original Loveland lands extended from Loveland Road east beyond the original location of the offices of Youngstown Sheet & Tube into Struthers and Campbell. The property extended south into Buckeye Plat. I was in the Safety Patrol at the intersection of Loveland Road and Powers Way when I was in 7th grade in Jackson School.
