"Obsequies of Mrs. F. D. HARPER" was the headline on an account in the Deseret Evening News of Great Salt Lake City Utah, 28 SEP 1907, p. 13. From Oakley it reported that "Mrs. Fannie Loveland HARPER, wife of Wm. T. HARPER, of the Cassia stake, presidency, passed to the great beyond on the 18th inst., after a serious illness of more than a year, when she took down with heart trouble. . . .
"Mrs. HARPER was the daughter of Chester, and Rosanna Winters LOVELAND; was born at Calls Fort, Utah, January 9, 1863. She moved to Albion, Cassia county, with her husband in 1884 . . .In 1900 when her husband was released from the bishopric of the Albion ward and placed in the stake presidency, the family moved to Oakley and have since resided here. Mrs. HARPER became active as a Relief society worker . . . Deceased was the mother of ten children, six of whom survive her; the eldest living being Chester C., who is now filling a mission to New Zealand. . . . Funeral services were held on Saturday, Sept. 21, in the stake tabernacle." Attendees and speakers were named, including her brother and sister, "Orson C. LOVELAND of the Dewey ward bishopric and Mrs. Sophia VALENTINE of Sugar City, Idaho."
