Hi, Chris .... Yes, I knew both Louis and Ethel. They were my aunt and uncle. For years we thought all the children up to Shirley, was burned to death in a house fire. Not true. Aunt Ethel gave them all up for adoption. Both Uncle Lewis and Aunt Ethel were born in Forest City, MO. Ethel's maiden name was Rasnic. Uncle Louis was my favorite uncle. A very handsome man, even in his "old age". Aunt Ethel had diabetes really bad, she lost some of one of her legs from it. I wasn't as close to her as I was to Uncle Louis. They lived at different locations in Topeka, Kansas when I visited both of them in the 70's. Uncle Louis was very sick and in the hospital the last time I visited him. Three of the Lovelady men married 3 of the Rasnic women.
