To all the Lovejoy family and friends,
I'm Looking for certain Lovejoy connections around the world.
The purpose of the Familytree DNA Project is to locate male direct line surname people and to locate female to female family names/lines and then to give an absolute proven line of the connections in the family.
At my recent check the Lovejoy surname has 4 participants.
This project is done in conjunction with the National Geographic project regarding the migration of man.
The desired result will be to locate the Lovejoy men around the world and trace our migration over thousands of years. For those in the US this means the DNA will trace the migration across America and the 1.000 's of years prior to America. For those outside of the US this will help connect our history and migration around the world.
This will help determine true countries of origin.
I would like to encourage all Lovejoy family researchers who need to connect to a Lovejoy Family line, or want to verify your own traditional research, to consider having a Male Lovejoy family member join our DNA project. You will not only help yourself but other Lovejoy researchers now and in the future.
Medical DNA testing is not done.
