Hi Elaine McCuish

I have just seen your info on the loveday genealogy page from 2001. |I am descended from the Henry & Samuel Loveday that you mention.

My Father was Robin who was a twin to a brother Tony

Their mother (they were born out of wedlock) was Blanche Gertrude Loveday, born 1907 in Norwich)

Blanches parents were Henry Charles Loveday and Nellie Louisa Loveday (1st Cousins !)

Henry Charles Father was Henry Charles senior and Nellies father was Albert Loveday (brothers) born in Neatishead Norfolk.

Their father was Henry Loveday a shoemaker, born in Neatishead in 1820, married to Sarah Ann Myhill around 1840.

Henrys father was Henry Loveday(son of Susan) born in 1794, married Maria Finch in 1815, and worked as a farmer in Withersgate in Worstead, Norfolk.

Henrys mother was Susan ( Henry was illegitimate), he was born in the Great Yarmouth area in Norfolk.

Susan was born in 1775.

Susan's father Samuel was born in 1740 in the St Faiths district of Norwich.

I have a family tree with all the siblings of the familys and would be interested if you fit into this Norfolk family somewhere ? Do you have the names and Births, Marriages, Deaths of relatives in the 19th Century as it is now easy to collate information from the web.

Looking forward to hearing from you

Paul Loveday, Cambridge, UK
