Mark LOVEDAY was born in Great Chishill, Essex, England in about 1844 son of Thomas LOVEDAY and Mary ELSOM. He emigrated with his parents and 7 siblings in 1854 on the "General Hewitt" and arrived 16 Dec 1854 in Moreton Bay, Queensland.
