Lovatt families 1899 and before

Browsing the "Lovatt" site I find it very interesting that the "Lovatt" spin off from the Fraser clan has so spread far and wide. I know that in England alone, even though it is not a common surname, there are Lovatts in many counties although most seem to be northern / middle England. My "Clan" is based in Bolton Lancashire where there are quite a few of us.
