Dear Hugh,
I found a Luuet in the Staffordshire Domesday book I think this is our ancester.It says that he held one hide of land and that he was a free man.The land was in the Himley area of Staffordshire.
I also found that there is a small hamlet in Normandy,France called St.Louet perhaps this is where he came from.
