Thank you for the response. This finally solves a question I had about the Weedens. According to the Thomas Weeden Family Bible, Elizabeth Weeden was born 1766, but there was no further information about her. Because everyone in the will I mentioned seemed to be a Weeden relative, I was hoping the same would be true for Phila Vandervoort.
Also listed in the Bible were Elizabeth's brothers Thomas Weeden, and William Weeden and her sister Eleanor who married Henry Wisner. Unfortunately, the Bible information was written well after the fact, and an additional sister Sarah -- my ancestor -- was left out, but her husband, Abraham Odell, and son were mentioned in the Pinckney will along with the other Weedens/Weeden relatives.
If you would like more information about the Weedens, please let me know. I have a lot to share.
