Hi Norman,
Thank you for the information. I have just recently found information on another brother of Samuel and Michael , William Lounsbury lived in West Chester N.Y. and during the Revolution, was a Loyalist. He was imprisoned, escaped to England and returned in 1776 and started a group of Rangers. A group of Militia found their hideout and a fire fight began. All of Williams men surrendered but William fought to the death. He is listed as the first blood shed in West Chester during the War. I found this, (off the top of my head) in a book I believe called Loyalists in America, I don't have my notes close, but I can find them.
