Yes. I have record of Emile Louis' birth in Metz area and some other stuff at home (probate record that lists other family member names). His mothers's name was Catherine Mangan. Emile and his brother (I presume) Jean arrived in San Francisco around 1874 or so. I have his natualization papers, I think. I'll research my records. I'm at work now. I know we are also connected to Millers (Mueller's?) in France, as well as to a family named Delaux (I think they are distant cousins who also came to US on the East Coast.
