Anton LOUIS & Apollonia GERTEN had Maria Elisabetha, b. ca. 1783, Theodor, Nicklas, and Anna (10 Jan. 1803 - 3 Apr. 1867) who m. 1824, Mathias ENDRES, d. 1 Sep. 1872. There was another daughter that m. Joseph BEDRI.

Registry Office of Welschbillig, [near Trier, Germany] 1824: Public Notice: Before us, magistrates of the Kantons Schweich, appeared Matheis ENDRES, field-man, of Mohn, Welschbillig, and declares that he intends to marry Anna LOUIS, daughter of the elderly married people Anton LOUIS & Apollonia GERTEN, all their lives field-people of Rodt. In consequence of the birth record being missing, the Mayor brings seven witnesses:

Maria Elisabetha, 40, sister of the bride; Theodor, 37, her brother; Nicklas LOUIS, 32, Joseph BEDRI, 35, her brother-in-law; Anton MASEM, 44, [Pathe derselben?]; & Peter GOUVERNEUR, 44, acquaintance. All witnesses, after being sworn, declare of their own knowledge that the bride was born 10 Jan. 1803, daughter of Anton LOUIS and Apollonia GERTEN, and that the single cause why the birth is not registered in the Burgermeisterei Schleidweiler is because the agent forgot to enter the same.
