I think I have this worked out. Thanks to the NEHGR, York Co., ME VR's, LDS, York Co., ME probate records and cemetery records of York Co. etc.

Brief Lineage lines of these folks appear to be as follows:

John 1 LOUGEE & Anne GILMAN
Gilman 2 & Susanna MUDGETT
John 3 and 1st wife Anna PARSONS and 2nd wife Elizabeth "Betsy" SMITH (who appears to have been the mother of a son named Charles Lougee b.c1813 in Maine)
Gilman 4 & Sarah (poss. nee SANBORN??)who were listed in the 1850 Parsonsfield, York Co., ME census.

The next lineage line is basically the same for the first 2 generations but at the 3rd generation it breaks off as follows:
Dea. Gilman 3 LOUGEE b.1753 & Joanna SMITH (prob. sister to Betsy Smith above who married this Gilman's brother John...also called "Capt." John LOUGEE who was born in 1758).
Gilman 4 and Mary E. BUZZELL
Gilman 5 & Almira RICHARDSON
**********************************
Many of these folks are buried in York Co., Maine, they are also mentioned in the York Co., ME Probate records and some of them are mentioned in the Limerick, York Co., ME records.
For instance Joanna (Smith) LOUGEE married 2nd to Jonathan NORRIS b.1749 of Exeter, NH and he died in 1826 Parsonsfield, ME.
Joanna died in 1831 and is buried next to her 1st husband in Parsonsfield.

Joanna Smith was a daughter of Hubartus SMITH b.1732 and he was probably from the Brentwood, NH area because Joanna was said to have been from that town.

Joanna Smith LOUGEE and Dea. Gilman LOUGEE had at least the following children:
Bartis, Joanna, Sukey (prob short for Susan/Susanna for Gilman's mother), and Gilman LOUGEE. These names were learned from the Probate records of Parsonsfield dated 1798 when Joanna had administrations for guardianship over these named children who were under 14 years of age and just over 14 years of age. Son Gilman as a matter of fact, in 1798 was only 15 years old.

There is also a Simeon MUDGETT buried in the Gilman LOUGEE plot in Parsonsfield that I forgot to mention earlier...he died in 1815 at age 48 years old, so he was born around c1767. His wife was Dorothy _____ who died in 1852 at age 83 years old. Simeon must have been related to Susanna MUDGETT, Dea. Gilman Lougee's mother.

Anyway, again Vol. 118 of the NEHGR has a good bit of info on the John 1 LOUGEE family.
Jan. - Oct. issues of 1964.
Hope this is helpful to some of you. Talk about a round about way of finding ones own family genealogy, but sometimes you just have to go in the back door to get out the front door. Since I am searching MOODY's from the Clement Moody line of Exeter, NH, and this family I do believe ties into mine, I have learned that many of the names associated with this Lougee family are also linked to mine...LEAVITT's, Scribner's, Gilman's, Bean's etc. etc.
