There were a number of Comer/Gomer families living in Shenandoah Co., VA in the late 1700s who might have been related to Catherine, wife of Joseph Louderback (ca. 1751 - 1828). A Michael Comer died testate before July 1802 (will dated 25 Sept. 1799; proved 12 July 1802). Among his children was a daughter Catharine. The will did not indicate the marital status of the daughter and did not mention any grandchildren.

A Cathrine Comer, daughter of "a" Michael Comer, married Adam Kibler on 27 Sept. 1813. This could have been the daughter of Michael Comer ( - bef. July 1802), a granddaughter, or some other relationship.
