One of the first things I did when I got my Official Records CD was to search for Robert Loudon (and the usual spelling variations). The Robert Loudon I am researching was a captain with the 2nd New York Cavalry. Seeing "under sentence of death" associated with the name Robert Louden in the OR was a real attention-getter :-)
