Robert Louden/Mary Gibson/Missouri/1860s

Hi--I'm looking for _Robert Louden_, who lived in St. Louis, Missouri around the time of the Civil War.

Louden was married to, I believe, Mary J. Gibson on Aug. 31, 1858 in St. Louis. By 1864 they had at least one daughter. He died some years after the war in Mobile of yellow fever (no info found in Mobile, AL's yellow fever cementary records).

At the end of the war he was in New Orleans (according to the Union officials looking for him). He was in the Confederate Secret Service during the war. Prior to the war he was in the Liberty volunteer fire department in St. Louis.

Thanks for any info. I'm not a relative; I'm writing a Civil War book in which he plays a significant role.

Deb Rule
