I have John Albert Loucks (born March 28, 1806) as s/o John Peter Loucks (born July 27, 1780) and Nancy Alguire (born 1783). The 1851 Census of Thurlow Township, Hastings County lists John as 70 years of age and wife, Nancy at 68.

Also, from Robert Loucks, Dalton, GA: From Book H: #288 John J. P. Loucks sold to Samuel Pearsons Jr. for $300 Mon. Con. 1, Lot 25W on Jan. 4, 1845. Wit: Asahel VanDusen & W. P. Loucks. John was from Montague Twp.

And this from Cathy Garvin of London, Ontario: I did a quick search of the church and census records on Granny's
Genelaogy Garden and found a reference to the will of John Loucks of Monatague, con.1, lot 25, from Feb. 8, 1872.The 1861 census for Montague lists John(age 55) and Johanna Loucks and their children at Montague conc. 2, lot 20, with David (age 32) and Emily Loucks at conc. 2, lot 18.

Montague Township is in Lanark County and contains the town of Smiths Falls. Thurlow Township is in the county of Hastings and contains the city of Belleville.
