I'm doing some research for a co-worker who's Great Grandparents are Otto and Anna. Otto arrived in the USon the ship Pennsylvania Apr 13, 1906. It says he is from Waldenburg, Germany and going to his uncle Josef Rahmer (Ramer/Roemer) in Wabasha, Minn.
I found Otto living in Wabasha County on the 1910 census (single and living with his mother Agnes). Agnes arrived in the U.S.July 14, 1907 with a younger son Wilhelm (b. 1890).
Otto has WWI Draft Registration Card from St. Louis County, MN June 5 (exact year unknown but presumably 1917). He is listed on the card as being married with 3 children.
I then found his mother Agnes with a death record in St. Louis County, died May 14, 1916 and according to the St. Louis County rootsweb/genweb she is buried in Meadowlands Cemetery. There is also a Herman Lotz buried there (died 1913). I put an entry for them on www.findagrave.com and requested cemetery photos for both.
I'm curios as to Anna's maiden name?
