For anyone who may have my family info & not be sure from my original query, I have addt'l info that might help.
My mother says that Jack Bennett Lott had no brothers, but at least 4-5 sisters.One sister was named Peggy and lived in St. Augustine, FL in the 1940's.She cannot remember what Peggy's married name was.

Sam Houston, TX for basics/training.He was possibly a plumber in his post-military life.
