Thanks, yes if you ever find Arthur Lott or even Bidsey Lott, I would be very interested to know where they are buried. Also, a picture would be great.
Also, I mentioned before that there was a document in Arthur Lott's estate papers listing specific items that were auctioned off such as farm tools, livestock etc. After learning of Henry Beaty through your posts I noticed that one of the buyers (among many other family members) who purchased several items was someone named "Henry Baty" and in one instance he is recorded as "Robert Baty (HB)". This could possibly be a misspelling of "Beaty" on the part of whoever was writing out the record of sales, perhaps based on pronunciation.
Have you run across that spelling of his name in other places during your research?
Other bidder names listed in the auction include Bidsey Lott, Arthur Lott (Jr), James T Lott, J.T. Lott (same as james), S H Bounds, Henry Bounds (same as S H), Joseph Floyd, and others who are also possibly relatives.
