Ronnie,

Please accept this as constructive comments. You should stick to the bible records, birth certificates, etc. that you spoke of instead of perpetuating long disputed early Lott family myths. I don't say this in an effort to supress the exchange of new ideas but in the spirit of promoting documented research.

For instance, no one was born in Duplin Co., NC in 1742 as there was no such jurisdiction. It was created in 1749. And the very 1742 date of birth is tenuous to say the least. Also, no one knows what this John Lott's wife's surname actually was. The name Lightfoot is a myth and should be reported as such.
