Geertje Dorland, dau. of Jan Gerritszen Dorland and Ann Remson bp. 19 Aug. 1674,married Abraham Lott, son of Peter Lott and Gertrudy, perhaps Lambert. Their children: Peter m. Femmetje Remsen, Johannes m. Elsie Suydam, Abraham m. Petronella Van Arsdalen, Isaac m. Anche Dorland,
Abrham married Sara, wife #2 ca. 1715, their child Joacb m. Isa Stoffels Probasco, and later Abraham married Marjtie, and their children Hendrick m. Hester Buckhouor, Geertje m. Nicholas Van Arsdalen and Rem married Sara Dorland.
The ancestors of Geertje Dorland have been untangle and ereors made in the John Dorland Cremer book corrected, while those of their children, spouses and grandchildren are not expanded and well documented in the book The Dorland Enigma Solved by Barbara A. Barth published June 2007. Copies of this book have been placed in various libraries about the U.S., however, if you wish your own copy you can contact me at
