I preface this info by saying that the info below was researched by a distant relative back in about 1990. That research says that Daniel was born in Leeds, ME. on Jan 10,1820. He married Sabra Warner. This research says that they had two children: Sarah Danielle in 1847, and Henry Daniel in 1848, both born at Carroll, ME. Sarah married Henry M White of Randolph, MA in 1868. Henry Daniel married Mary Ellen Palmer of Byron, ME in 1873

However, I have a copy of the 1870 census for Wayne, ME showing that Daniel and Sabra lived in the household there with 5 children: Louisa age 15, Emily age 12, Mary age 12, Ester age 7, and Elmer age 4. I have no further info on those children.

Another discrepancy I note in the 1990 research is that it also states that Daniel enlisted as a corporal in K Company of the Third Infantry regiment of the Maine Volunteers.

Hope this is more helpful than confusing.
