Dear Danielle , Domingo was Toribio s uncle , Refugia and her mother lived with the Herrera family for a while ,and some where in there they intermarried. The thing that i can up with is that Refugia was the illegitmate daughter of Toribio ,because Refugia s mother was Lenora Menchaca sister of Jose Menchaca who fought with Sam Houston at San Jacinto . Jose Menchaca started the saying " Remember the Alamo" . Jose Menchaca is my grandmother gggUncle , and Refugia was my grandmother ggrandmother.
