Unable to find a Phebe Jane Losee. My Great
Great, Grandmother Marietta Losee Lawson had
a sister Jane Ann, b Feb 25, 1816, Chestnut Ridge,
NY m Sept. 1841 to Matthew P. Irwin.
Several of the family ended up in Chautauqua
County, NY. Have been unable to find any
more info on their father John Ireton Losee,
son of John Losee and Rebecca Harris. Her father,
Joseph Harris, was married to Annetje
Johanna Viele. Surely there is
a connection to all the Losee family in Dutchess Co., NY.
Keep looking, maybe something will show up one of these days
