Townsend Losee on "longest life" lease with
Anthony Walters b 1751 and Stephen Walters by 1757. Walters men are sons of Joseph Walters, later famous Quaker preacher. Document says of the three "sons of Joseph". Is Townsend's mother Sarah, a widow who married Joseph ca 1749? Joseph Walters in Dutchess earlier and lots of Losee there.
Townsend Losee is named as neighbor with land adjacent to lease land of Joseph in other documents. Document in the Sleepy Hollow Restoration records. Settlers of Beekman By Doherty says much about the Losee family in the 4 volumes to date.
