Looking for ancestors/descendants/information on Simeon Losee born 1754 in Horseneck, CT who married Freelove Merritt of Dutchess Cty, NY in 1774. In 1790 they moved to Surprise, Greene, NY, where Simeon built and operated a lumber mill. They had 5 children: Hiram, Stephen, Sarah, Elizabeth, and another daughter. Simeon and Freelove were my fourth great grandparents (via their son Stephen and his wife Rachel King). If you have any information on this family I would love to hear from you.
