Daniel, Abraham and Joseph Losee - Westchester, NY

Looking for information on the ancestry of presumed brothers Abraham, Daniel and Joseph Losee. Enumerated in the 1790 census in Greenburgh, Westchester, NY. The family later moved to the northern half of the county and Daniel, at least, settled in Yorktown, Westchester, NY.

Suspect that they may be sons of Cornelius Losee, clearly an older Losee according to the 1790 census for Greenburgh, who disappeared by 1800.

McKenzie has Cornelius born in Jamaica in 1720 but I found no record of his birth.

Some say he is a descendant of Cornelius de Seeuw, but I found no evidence between the Westchester Losees and the Losees of Long Island to support that theory. Seversmith supposed there may have been two separate Losee families with one settling in Brooklyn. The Westchester family may descend from the later.
