Jonas Losee and Florence E. Salisbury

I believe I may have the correct ancestry of this Jonas Losee, b. about 1848. His roots go back to Long Island before the Revolutionary War. Jonas was born in Canada and apparently served in the Civil War. I am descended from his aunt, Mary Jane Losee, and would be happy to share what I have learned about the family with any descendants of Jonas. There is a great deal of mis-information regarding this branch on the Internet, and I'm trying to "get it right".
