My ggggrandparents were Jonas Losee and Zuba Unknown. Jonas was a son of Simon Losee and Margaret Brush.

Simon and Margaret, Jonas and Zuba were in the Spring Fleet of 1783 evacuated/exiled from New York to New Brunswick.

Mary Jane Losee, a daughter of Jonas and Zuba, was born about 1807 in New Brunswick. She and the family migrated to Northumberland County, Ontario, before 1826 (probably several years before then). Jonas Losee is found in Haldimand Twp. on Conc. A, Lot 30 in 1826.

Is there any connection to your Daniel?
