Hello Dolores,
There is a match, but I cannot supply you with much. My grandfather, John SONNABAND, birth name in Germany was, Hans Peters SONNABEND, Jr, m. 1) Annie LORENZEN. They moved to Freemont, Dodge Co, NE. Sometime after the Jun 1870 census, Annie died. I have been unable to locate her death records or grave. As the story goes, John took her body back to WI, along with their 2 little girls:
1 Lena Catherina "Tinie" SONNABEND b. 4 Oct 1868, who m. William Fredrich EICHMEIER.
2 Anna SONNABEND b. 7 Jan 1869, WI. who m. Louis T. KEPPLER.
As the story goes, the children were to be raised by their grandmother.
So as not to make this too long, I will put the Tagge data in my next entry on Anna C. (JENSEN)LORENZEN TAGGE.
Carol
