Your John Lorenz (father of George Carl (Charley)) was the son of John Lorenz. The first John Lorenz had two sons named John, one was labeled as John the Older, the other as John the younger. Charles/Carl/Charley was the son of John of the older. Charley married an Tabaitha Elizabeth Agnew July 21, 1883.
