I've been mainly looking for my grandmother, Anna's parents, but have not had very much luck. This is what I have to date:
Friedrich Lorenz married Carolina Ringel. Both of them originated in Prussia. Daughter, Anna, was born, possibly in Berlin (or close by) 24 July 1859. They all came to Wisconsin in approx. 1880 (possibly to Sheboygan, or Racine, WI). I think there were two other siblings: Marie and Albertina. They lived in Wisconsin also. All were Lutherans as far as I know.
Anna Lorenz was married young to someone named Mueller (no first name or other info). On Dec. 31, 1884, she married Wilhelm Friedrich Hurtienne in Sheboygan. She was 25 years old. Anna & William lived in Sheboygan until their deaths. They are buried in the Lutheran Cemetery. I need to find Anna's parents info. and cemetery site.
If anyone has knowledge of the Friedrich and Carolina Lorenz family, please email me anything. I'm at a wall at this point.
